Returns & Exchange Policy for Hello RE
At Hello RE, we prioritize customer satisfaction by offering a clear and comprehensive returns and
exchange policy. Please review the following details carefully to understand the process and
conditions for returns and exchanges.
General Return Policy
- Eligibility for Returns: Most products are eligible for a 7-day return
policy, except specific items such as laptop bodies, screens, and other select
products.
- 7-Day Free Return Window: For most products, customers can request a return
within 7 days of delivery if the item is defective.
Tracking Information
- The tracking number provided may take up to 24 business hours to become active
on the courier company's website.
- Customers can use the tracking information to monitor the progress of their shipment.
Return Process
- Within the First 7 Days:
a. If the item is defective and your location is eligible for a return pickup, we will arrange
for the pickup at no cost.
b. If return pickup service is unavailable, you must courier the item back to our address, and
the return charges will be reimbursed.
- After 7 Days:
a. Customers must arrange for the return at their own expense. Only the item's actual cost will
be eligible for a refund; courier charges will not be reimbursed.
b. For warranty claims after 15 days, customers are responsible for shipping costs to send the
item to our address.
Local Exchange Option
Customers residing in Bengaluru can visit our local branches for replacements. For more information,

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
- All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) before being
processed.
- To initiate a return, send an email to care@hellore.in with your order number and a brief
description of the issue.

Inspection & Refund Process
- Upon receiving the returned item, our Quality Control (QC) team will inspect
the product to
ensure it meets the return criteria.
- For refund requests, the amount will be credited within 5-7 business days to
the original
payment method (or as per your bank's policies).
- Refunds for Sale Purchases: For items purchased during special sales (e.g.,
Diwali), refunds
will be issued as store credits to your Hello RE account.
Non-Defective Products
- If you change your mind after purchase, you may request cancellation within 2
hours of placing the order.
- For shipped orders, customers are responsible for all shipping charges, including a 10%
restocking fee.
Defective Products
- Defective products must be reported and returned within the warranty period for replacement or
refund.
- Warranty claims are void if the product shows signs of misuse, physical damage, or design
alterations (e.g., swollen batteries).
Special Scenarios
- Empty Box Claims: Claims must be reported within 1 hour of
delivery with photographic evidence.
- Damaged Items During Shipping: Notify us within 24 hours of
delivery with proof of damage for resolution.
- Incorrect Items: Customers can return incorrect items for a full refund or
exchange.
Important Notes
- Tracking Information: Customers must provide tracking details for all returned
items.
- Unacceptable Returns: Returns that fail to meet the outlined conditions will be
denied credit or replacement.
- Responsibility for Return Shipping Costs:
- Hello RE covers shipping costs for returns due to our error.
